"I Didn't Want Anything To Detract From Her Bones"

Wow my first post....finally!

My severe lack of oomph to get this thing up and running can only be credited to my hectic work schedule and quite frankly my desire to sleep more than my desire to look at a computer screen for any longer then i already do on a daily basis!

So the topic holding the honour of being my first official post?? Well, nothing less than the LBD would do of course.......

With my terrible shooting from the hip action i managed to sneak a cheeky few snaps past the burley security guards eye.............
As you may or may not know i moved to Manchester from Cumbria a little over eight months ago now, and recently i went home after quite a few months.
My mum had been dying to go to an exhibition on the ever faithful LBD at the Tullie House Museum at Carlisle, so i came home to indulge in some home comforts as well as the beautiful creations myself!

The collection of dresses spanned over a timeline of history up until the present day documenting the changes in the LBD from era to era.

The LBD a powerful statment of colour.
Black is worn to denote many a feeling, many beleive it symbolises power
and control, many beleive it displays a hidden ‘darker side’ of which craft and wizardry,
black can be a dominating and overpowering shade...funnily enough black isn't a colour that i myself never seem to wear much of......
My wardrobe is full of colour, its not that i chose not to wear black but for me black is a sexy and sultry colour, and to put it boldly im far to clumsy and silly to ever be sultry or sexy thats for sure :-)
