Choccywoccydoodahh...

Amazing delights in London....

I was at London last week and couldn't resist slipping into the Choccywoccydoodahh shop in Carnaby St.

After loving the show for so long now and having never had the chance to get to Brighton i recently found out they had now opened a store in London.

I literally ran there fresh of the train and i wasn't dissapointed! the cakes look amazing and the creators are out of this world talented, its insane!!
I do however hate myself for saying this but as far as the taste goes, i do still favour The Hummingbird Bakery (which i also made a visit to) its true but it doesn't deter from the amazingness that is Choccy!!

Oh yes i also have a sneaky pose image from Liberty too.....
it had to be done :-)

Stud Me Im Famous...

Cross your hearts...

Today i customised my favourite shorts, the old pair of my dads levi's i cut and made my own many moons ago.

I went to london and picked up some studs and charms from Berwick St, and decided to jazz up my shorts.

It was relatively easy to do and it was good fun picking the exact charms i  wanted to have on my shorts im a huge fan of customisation and its cool to have something that 1. know one else has and 2. that is completely what you want.

Have a look....

Dhaka Delights.....

On my work travels again...

so i went to bangladesh a few weeks ago, on a work trip.
i was there to follow up on our factories and samples we had put into work.
on the way to the factory i got to see some of the real Bangladesh
it was my first time in bangladesh and i have to say it was a real eye opener but also very interesting and i did learn a hell of a lot.

transportation in Dhaka, a tuk tuk and a service bus!!

Most of my trip was spent in boiling hot factories or working until very very late in the office, not glamourous at all, but i was there to do a job and i managed to get a lot done so it was all worth it.

as i was there over the weekend i did manage to get to see some of bangladesh on the saturday with the help of an office guide, it would have been much too unsafe to go out alone.
the weaving of cotton is the beginning of the denim making process, it then goes on to be dyed and machine woven

we ate some scrumptious ice-cream and dined at Nandos!! i couldn't believe i had actually found a Nandos in Dhaka!!

i learned so much about the weaving and dying of fabrics, i came home armed with so much new knowledge and a fresh design outlook so it was a successful trip all around.

the flight was VERY eventful and not something i wish to encounter ever again, there was a huge fight, men smoking on the plain openly, and a generous lapdance from a 80year old man to give you just a little insight!! YAK!!
me at the english club, a good shandy and pie was just what the doctor ordered!!
So that is where i have been my dears,
much more to come

Eivissa i heart you...

It's not an excuse why i have been absent for so long.. but i have been a very busy girl...

One Tuesday a few weeks ago i found out that work were shipping me off to Bangladesh the following Tuesday. With this as my ammunition I bartered to get Thursday and Friday off, with the following Monday being a bank holiday that meant five days off...hmmmmm......what to do...i know.. Lets go on holiday! me and the boy took it upon ourselves to book a last minute trip to Ibiza...very last minute. Like 11:30pm and we flew at 6am the next morning!!

After what can only go down in history as the most epic taxi ride ever to the airport consisting of the driver blasing Nicki Minaj at 4am until the speakers blew whilst dancing (hands free) at the wheel, we caught the very rowdy ryanair flight to IBIZA!!

We were staying in the most beautiful hotel right on Bora Bora beach, only affordable due to our last minute deal!! It was beautiful, our own little patio and the apartment was a two level little bit of luxury we both really needed.

We walked along the beach into Eivissa old town most days and explored the shopping, food in and around the old castle walls.
The shops were idyllic, ranging from quaint little boutiques to huge european labels like Zara and Mango.

I have to say i did purchase a few new pieces, but the boy spent the most!!

We missed out on the hippy market that is held every Wednesday and every Saturday, its supposed to be a real must so if any of you guys get the chance to go you definitely should!!

a selection of images of the stunning island that is Ibiza...
We ate out every night in the old castle walls, its packed with a row of authentic romantic little restaurants,we ate at a different one every night for the whole stay and they were all as yummy as each other.
