April Fools : Rookery Hall, Cheshire.
So mine and they boys stay at Rookery Hall on Sunday went down an absolute treat! We ate delicious food as well as taking a well deserved relax chilling out in the spa and surprisingly for me i also enjoyed working out in the gym..strange!! This was a godsend really as the amount of food i put away could have sunk a small ship!

We arrived on Sunday and after a swim and gym session we tucked into afternoon tea. Delicate finger sandwiches of tuna, smoked salmon, cheese and egg followed by two fruit scones each with clotted cream and preservatives, all washed down with a delicious cuppa!!
And just when we thought we had reached the peak of deliciousness we were impressed even more so at the evening dinner. Suited and booted we arrive at the bar for dinner at 8pm where we had pre drinks whilst chosing from the menu, we were then taken into the dining room where i had Mackerel with a beetroot salad, followed by salmon fillet with hollendaise souce and dauphinoise potatoes potatoes. Finally to top it off i guzzled down my desert in a flash.. a plate of rhubarb; mini rhubarb pie, mini crumble, sorbet and rhubarb macaroon. I didnt stop ther though and helped myself to a generous portion of the boys cheese and crackers!! oops!
We had a great weekend, and as we found out Sunday night at dinner we were staying in very significant room at the hotel. "the March suit" was the very suit that David Beckham proposed to Victoria way back when. How honoured we should be eh!!
